APPLE STORAGE TIMES BY VARIETY
By David Marks
Not all apples are equal when it comes to storing them. Some varieties are best eaten straight from the tree whilst other varieties store well for six months or more in the correct conditions. All dates refer to home storage not commercial storage which often impairs the taste and texture.
The times given below assume you harvest and store your apples correctly, for more details on how to this click here. On that same page we give details of how to stew apples easily for freezing. If this method is used the apples will store in the freezer for six months or more.
